Little Nightmares 3: The Backstage DLC aangekondigd, verschijnt op 12 juni

Supermassive Games heeft tijdens de Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2026 de eerste DLC voor Little Nightmares 3 aangekondigd: The Backstage verschijnt op 12 juni voor alle platforms waarop de game beschikbaar is. De uitbreiding introduceert een nieuw speelbaar personage dat lichtbronnen tactisch moet gebruiken om zich te ontworstelen aan donkere, dreigende wezens.

Gameplaybeelden tonen een sluiplevel in een gigantische keuken, waar een reusachtige vrouw op de achtergrond iets staat te koken; als ze de speler ziet, is een felle lichtflits de enige manier om te ontsnappen. Omdat Little Nightmares 3 grotendeels woordeloos vertelt, is nog onduidelijk of The Backstage het hoofdverhaal uitbreidt of een losstaand hoofdstuk vormt.

The Backstage is het eerste “Additional Chapter” uit de uitbreidingspas Little Nightmares 3: Secrets of the Spiral. Een tweede Additional Chapter is gepland in de periode oktober–december 2026.
