Anya Taylor-Joy is gecast als Seren in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, zo maakte een recente aankondiging bekend via een castingvideo. De fantasyfilm brengt ook zwaargewichten uit de franchise samen: Ian McKellen als Gandalf, Elijah Wood als Frodo, Andy Serkis keert terug als Gollum, Lee Pace speelt Thranduil en Jamie Dornan krijgt de rol van Aragorn. De film, een spin-off binnen het Lord of the Rings-universum rond de jacht op Gollum, verschijnt 17 december 2027 in de bioscopen.
